Will Fingbox work with my existing network?

Fingbox works with most network routers, extenders and access points. Check the router compatibility list to learn more.

Does Fingbox support IPv6?

Fingbox requires IPv6 to be disabled to function properly. Most routers use both IPv4 and IPv6 and by default IPv6 is disabled. If you cannot disable IPv6 on your router, Fingbox device blocking and bandwidth analysis features will not work properly.

Does Fingbox continuously monitor bandwidth consumption of devices?

No, Fingbox only monitors the bandwidth consumption of devices on demand. You must select the devices you want to analyze and run the test to get the bandwidth consumption of each device. We designed Fingbox this way so it would not slow down your network, by constantly re-routing all your network traffic through the device to count packets.
